I am grateful for darkness; it really helps me appreciate the light. I close my eyes and imagine what it would be like if I could never open them again. I consider how it might feel to have once had the vision to view all of the majestic beauty in the world and then suddenly be struck blind.
What you see as pot holes I see as bird baths

Paradoxes stand at every corner of this path because… in the end, life is really just billions upon billions of contradictions.
Simply hearing someone say, “forgiveness is for you”, isn’t enough to process our emotional pain in a way that allows us to forgive — especially when our pain is caused by someone we believe should love us. This could be anyone from a parent or sibling to a partner or best friend.
A collective culture of mainstream extremism coupled with group-think has created an environment where refusing to jump on one of the mainstream-media bandwagons is nearly impossible.
